Current Updates, May 2011:
Tutu and Me Traveling Preschool recognizes the need for families and staff to understand the importance of social emotional development to the health and well-being of our keiki and their families. Our school currently provides CSEFEL Teaching Tips in our newsletter, the Tutu Times. Three of our staff have attended CSEFEL training on Oahu, and our Instructional Specialist has been trained prior to joining our program. We are currently developing a CSEFEL Teaching Toolkit for staff and families, to be completed at the beginning of the next school year.
August 2011:
The CSEFEL Teaching Toolkit is now completed and being reviewed for staff distribution. It will be sent to teachers along with the CSEFEL Family Resource Guide and posted on the server as a teaching resource.
September 2011:
Select CSEFEL materials will be converted into Tutu Talks for the families we serve statewide. CSEFEL Tips will also be included in the TTM Monthly Take-home Calendars.
